Constipation Remedies

One cup of cooked Broccoli provides 2.5 gms of fiber and contains natural laxative. This is good to treat or prevent constipation.

Apple has certain type soluble fibers which absorb large amounts of water from intestinal tract, which helps in constipation.

Figs have a laxative property and so helpful for people with chronic constipation. However in normal situations, one should be careful as over indulgence can cause diarrhea.
